My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Cocoa!!

This adorable little girl was found with her mom behind a dumpster when she was just 1–2 weeks old, eyes still closed. Thankfully, her finders stepped in, offered to foster, and brought them home to safety.

As of December 17, Cocoa is estimated to be around 5 weeks old, and in just a few short weeks she’ll be ready to head to her forever home. Her mom is a petite 25 lb cattle dog mix, and while we have no idea who dad is, it’s clear Cocoa is growing quickly so he must’ve been a slightly bigger guy!

Like all puppies, Cocoa will need continued training, socialization, and physical activity to grow into the best version of herself. She’s off to a great start thanks to being raised in a loving foster home from such a young age.

Cocoa is being fostered in Houston, Texas, but she is available for adoption in many locations across the country.
