My name is Chevy!

Hi there! My name is Chevy, and I'm an 18-month-old Pit mix weighing about 48 lbs. I was found at Archer's Auto Shop in Rockwall on 12/19/25 and was sadly never reclaimed. Now, I'm ready to find a forever home where I can be loved and part of a family. I'm a sweet, well-mannered boy who walks nicely on a leash and understands most basic commands. I enjoy spending time with people and would love a family who's excited to include me in their daily adventures. If you already have another dog at home, a meet and greet is recommended to make sure we're a good match. My adoption fee is $125, which includes my neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, annual core boosters, and heartworm test. I am scheduled for my neuter, rabies vaccination, and heartworm test on Wednesday, 12/31/25, so adopters must be able to accommodate this appointment. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
