Holly was born on a farm August 27, 2025. We got her the very end of October and have had her for the past almost 2 months. She’s very smart and sweet, but has a lot of energy. She loves to play with our kids, but always tends to knock them over and/or bite/rip their clothing. As a puppy she’s teething so she wants to gnaw on everything right now, especially carpet and clothing.
When we got her from the farm, she had some worms and mites. We’ve treated them and the vet says they’re all gone. She’s up-to-date on her vaccines and we give her a pill monthly to keep worms, ticks, and fleas away. She is scheduled to be spayed in February, but hasn’t been yet.
She is primarily an outdoor dog. We’ve sectioned off a part of our basement as her doghouse. She has a dog door so she can go outside whenever she wants to play or go potty. I do need to take her out between 5 and 5:30 AM or she might have an accident. But if I do, she goes out herself the rest of the day without accidents.
