Happy Paw-ladays! My name is Rachel and I'm a gorgeous 1-2yr old female German Shepherd. I am located in Memphis, TN and will be available for transport.

1. My friend Sebastian and I were found dumped in a park in Memphis. A wonderful lady rescued us, got us healthy & vetted, and is now helping us find forever homes with IDGSR adopters!

2. I have the most gorgeous sleek black shiny coat and deep amber color eyes. My personality matches my external beauty, I'm mild mannered, sweet, friendly, and oh so loving.

3. I am house trained and don't need to be kenneled! I don't bother anything in my foster home while left alone. I also know several obedience commands but want to learn more. Will you paw-promise to train me?

4. I am CAT FRIENDLY!! Did you see my video interacting so nicely with the kitty? If you have a kitty friend in your home, we will get along just fine, with proper introductions of course.

5. I would love to have another dog in the home to play with. You could adopt my friend Sebastian for us to stay together or if you already have a nice pupper, we will be best friends!

6. I love to be close to my person and get lots of attention. I would love to go on walks, hikes, play ball, and relax in the sun.

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
