Meet Dribble, a truly special Great Dane mix puppy with a heart as big as his paws and a personality that's impossible not to love. Dribble is happy, smart, and eager to please—traits that shine through in everything he does. He adores children and has been the perfect companion to a two-year-old, showing gentle affection and boundless enthusiasm for playtime. Like any young pup, he sometimes gets a little too excited, but offer him a toy and he's instantly redirected with a wag and a smile.
Dribble lives harmoniously with dogs, cats, and even chickens. While he may curiously trail a cat now and then, one well-placed swat taught him to respect their space. He’s food-motivated, which makes training a breeze, and he already knows to potty as soon as he’s let outside. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s making steady strides every day.
This sweet boy had a rough start in life, and some bald patches on his coat are healing signs of that past. Under the care of a vet, he's on Simparica Trio and getting weekly medicated baths to help his fur grow in beautifully. Despite everything, Dribble’s spirit is unshaken—he's a loving, resilient pup who just wants to be near his people.
He does well with dogs of all sizes, takes corrections from older dogs like a champ, and would thrive in a home with another playful companion. He has wonderful recall, even with five acres to roam, and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate—only whining if he needs a bathroom break.
Dribble walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car (though he doesn’t love being picked up to get in), and is learning to accept being handled more comfortably. He doesn’t love the rain, but he loves his people, and that makes every challenge a bit easier to overcome.
He’s a quiet pup with a gentle soul who lights up at the sight of children and greets every new person like a long-lost friend. He occasionally pees when overly excited or nervous, but this has improved quickly with patience and routine.
As a dog trainer and veterinary professional, his foster can say with confidence—Dribble is a GOOD DOG. He has the temperament, resilience, and love to become an exceptional family member. All he needs is a home with another friendly dog, some kids to adore, and humans who believe in kindness, treats, and second chances. Dribble is ready to meet his forever family. Could that be you?

More about this rescue
To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.
To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.
We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
