Meet our Pokemon crew! These babies were rescued from a holler in WV, and in the spirit of trying to 'catch 'em all,' we dubbed them with Pokemon names!

Suicune (affectionately called Panda), is a sweet and spunky girl! She loves to play with toys and her siblings, and is definitely a food motivated girlie! She melts into your arms when picked up like a ragdoll, and greatly enjoys cuddles and belly rubs! She must think she's a puppy and not a kitten, because she has a silly quirk where she wags her tail when she's happy! We've never met a cat who does this before, so she's one rare and unique Pokemon!

Suicune is roughly 3 months old, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, on monthly flea/tick prevention, is current on her kitten vaccine series, and is scheduled to be spayed and microchipped in January. She uses her litterbox perfectly and is ready to find her forever home for the holidays!

Her adoption fee is $125.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, an online application must be completed and approved first.

Since we do not have a shelter, and our animals are all cared for in foster homes, we do not make appointments to meet any of our animals until an online application has been completed and approved.

The adoption application can be found at our website, www.anewleashonliferescue.com.

We DO NOT ship any of our pets!!!

ADOPTION FEES :

Our adoption fees are based on the amount of vet care put into each animal.
All of our animals are fully vetted prior to adoption!

This includes:
An examination by a licensed veterinarian
Spay/neuter
Vaccinations
Heartworm test (if the animal is old enough)
FeLV/FIV test (for cats)
Microchip
Deworming
Flea/heartworm medication

We do not have overhead costs such as payroll, building costs, marketing, advertising, etc so you can rest assured that your adoption fee goes directly to vet bills and animal care items like food, toys, bones, crates, paper towels, etc. A New Leash on Life Rescue is a 501c3 organization, so your adoption fee is also a charitable donation that you may claim on your taxes! Adoption fees are non-negotiable.

More about this rescue

Our group consists of foster homes in the Northeastern Ohio Region. We work together to save as many animals as possible from local shelters and, on occasion, from puppy mills. We are a non-profit organization, and work strictly on a volunteer basis.
