My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brook is an approximately 10–11-year-old Miniature Schnauzer whose journey is one of resilience, healing, and hope. Rescued from a severe hoarding and backyard breeding case, Brook entered rescue in fragile condition and in urgent need of extensive medical care.

Thanks to timely, life-saving veterinary treatment, Brook is now doing remarkably well. After major dental surgery, surgical repair related to advanced oral infection, spay surgery, and continued medical support, she is finally able to eat comfortably and live without pain. She is gaining weight steadily and growing stronger each day.

As her body has healed, Brook’s gentle and loving personality has truly begun to shine. Despite everything she endured, she remains trusting, affectionate, and deeply connected to the people caring for her. She is currently in a calm and nurturing environment where she continues to thrive.

Brook is now ready for the next chapter of her life and is looking for a loving family to call her own. She would do best in a quiet home with someone who appreciates the companionship of a senior dog and is willing to provide the patience and care she deserves.

Brook’s story is one of recovery and second chances, and she is ready to share her heart with a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life.
