Candy is a beautiful senior calico with a heart as warm as her name. Life has brought her some heartbreak — she’s lost not just one, but two beloved humans who adored her deeply. Now, she’s being lovingly cared for by a remaining family member who, sadly, is allergic to cats. Candy is ready to find her next — and forever — home where she can once again be the cherished companion she was born to be. This lovely lady is the perfect mix of affection and independance. She adores attention, loves to give and receive cuddles, and is a master biscuit-maker. Candy enjoys sleeping near her person and will happily keep someone company through quiet evenings and cozy mornings. She’s gentle, calm, and easygoing — the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home. Candy would thrive as the queen of her castle — the only feline in the home — where she can soak up all the love and attention. She’s wonderful with adult humans and would do beautifully with older teens; one of her favorite people is a 17-year-old young lady. Candy can coexist peacefully with small, cat-friendly dogs (under 20 lbs), though she’d be happiest as the star of the show. Her gorgeous calico coat needs regular brushing, which she enjoys — it’s another way to bond with her favorite human. Our current fee for a cat or kitten is $80.00
We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers who started this organization in 2010. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.
