Meet Moxie!
She’s 3 years old, a German Shepherd mix, and her ears have their own zip code. Scientists believe she can hear a cheese wrapper open in another dimension, possibly yesterday. Those built-in Wi-Fi antennas are always fully extended, even when the rest of her brain is in sleep mode.
Moxie is a gentle sweetheart who’s a little shy at first, quietly observing the world with her giant ears on full alert. Give her a minute (and maybe a treat), and her goofy side comes out—expect awkward flops, surprise zoomies, and a sudden demand for affection. All of our adoptable dogs and cats will be be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted out.

Our Goal
"To provide service to the people and the animals of Davis County, through the professional operation of the Davis County Animal Shelter and animal care and control programs. Services shall be rendered in an efficient, effective, and conscientious manner. These services shall include, but are not limited to; sheltering of unwanted, stray and abandoned pets, euthanasia of animals, adoption, redemption, lost and found services, providing of resource information, and public education as well as the taking and processing of all requests for service. These and other similar services shall be provided in a friendly, compassionate, and pro-active manner at all times."
