Meet Remington! 🐾
Remington is a big-hearted, fox red/yellow Lab mix with an even bigger smile to match his 88 lbs of lovable goofiness. At 9 years young, this gentleman is the perfect blend of couch potato and car adventure buddy—happy to lounge beside you one minute and hop in the car for a ride the next.
Socially, Remington is a dream. He’s dog friendly, easygoing, and non-confrontational—happy to coexist or make a pal, and tolerant even of playful youngsters. He’s also good with cats and mostly indifferent to them. While his experience with children is unknown, his gentle, loving nature suggests he’d do best with older kids who are comfortable around a big, happy boy who may forget just how large he is.
Remington has a low energy, happy-go-lucky vibe. He enjoys short walks, sniffing around the yard, and relaxing with his people. He’s currently recovering from an ACL repair (September 2025) and is building strength with short walks and light in-home physical therapy.
Remington’s quirks only add to his charm: when he’s really happy, he buries his head in your lap, and he loves to plop himself right in the middle of the kitchen floor like a cheerful speed bump. He may bark once or twice at squirrels or passersby, but he’s generally quiet and easy to live with.
Remington is truly an absolute pleasure to be around—affectionate, relaxed, goofy, and full of love. He’s looking for a home where he can be part of the family, enjoy a comfy couch, and be surrounded by people (and maybe a dog friend) who adore him as much as he adores them.
