Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Indiana Bones was found as a barely weaned puppy next to a dumpster at a convenience store. My daughter worked there, felt sorry for him and brought him home. He had separation anxiety and to this day needs reassurance he is loved. He grew into a beautiful 60 lb dog.
My daughter, due to illness, left me with Indiana and her 10 year old son. I'm 80 years old. I love Indiana, but he's just too much for me. He needs a younger, stronger owner who will walk and RUN him daily. He has very long legs and is full of puppy-like exuberance. He needs to run daily. He needs lots of love and attention.
A home with surrounding land would be perfect for him. His bordie collie genes demand he work for the family or is task oriented. He loves to help. He loves dogs, cats, children, horses, but will chase anything that runs. He can't help himself.
Indiana needs a loving home with people who like to be outdoors and who understand canines. And he's healthy and beautiful. Indy is easy to love.
