Kaylee is a six-month-old puppy who is ready to find her forever home. She came to us as a breeder surrender and is a truly unique and beautiful girl. While she is considered a fluffy Frenchie, you can clearly see her Pekingese traits shining through, giving her an adorable and distinctive look.
Kaylee is very much a typical puppy—playful, curious, and full of life. She enjoys playing and does well with other dogs. Because she has lived a fairly secluded life so far, she can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but she warms up quickly. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality comes out, and she is absolutely thriving in her foster home.
As with any puppy her age, Kaylee will need continued training and patience. Chewing, potty training, and learning household routines are all part of the deal. She is already doing fairly well with going outside to potty, but adopters should expect a learning curve as she adjusts to a new environment.
We are looking for adopters who are prepared for puppy life and committed to helping Kaylee continue to grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
If you are interested in adopting Kaylee, please complete an adoption application on our website at www.retiredtorescue.org.
We do adopt out of state; however, adopters must be able to pick Kaylee up in Las Vegas, Nevada within 10 days of application approval and agreement to adoption.
Kaylee is a special girl with so much love to give, and she’s ready to start her next chapter with the right family.

Additional adoption info
Once you see the pup of your dreams you fill out an adoption application:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeXPNq9voBZT2E0wYyxf240a7qdVNNoTfdL1dIAx-UpcoLy5A/viewform
Once approved, we will reach out to you to set up an "interview" but really more of a chat. If after our chat we agree to try a meet we schedule a meet and greet at your home. If the meet goes well the one week trial begins.
If after the week trial all parties agree to proceed with adoption, final adoption application is signed, adoption fee is paid and the pups medical records and microchip are transferred.
Even if after the official trial the adoption is not a great fit for any reason we will always accept dogs back under our rescue.
