My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chico!

Hi friends, I’m Chico! At 90 pounds, I may look like a big tough guy, but I promise I’m just a giant goofball full of love. My foster mama says I’ve got the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness.

I love to play tug-of-war and wrestle with my foster sister—it’s my favorite way to burn off some energy! But when playtime is over, I’m all about cuddles and being as close as possible to my person. Big lap dog? Yep, that’s me.

I’d be happiest in a home that’s active—walks, runs, adventures? Count me in! I also think life is more fun with a doggy friend, so I’d love a playmate in my forever home.

I’m crate trained (just bring snacks, please!), neutered, and totally up-to-date on all my vet stuff. Now all I need is my forever family—the bestest one out there—to call me theirs!

More about this rescue

We started out fighting for our baby boy, Lucci, who was killed due to Airport Animal Emergi-Center Clinic's breed prejudice. When he was killed, we make a promise that no bully would be left behind. Now we try to save as many bullies as we can!
