My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Batty: Proof That Love Has No Limits

Seven years strong, completely blind, and *absolutely unstoppable*—Batty is living proof that dogs don’t need sight to see the beauty in the world. She was rescued just three days before her time ran out at the shelter, and now she’s writing the second chapter of her life... one gentle sniff at a time.

-Spayed, house trained, crate trained, and calm as a spring breeze
-Loves her giant ball and will happily entertain you with her playful side when she’s in the mood
-Favorite hobbies include sunbathing in the grass, short sniffy walks, and curling up for cozy snuggles
-Grows more confident on walks each day—guided by her handler’s voice and her trusting little nose
-Prefers to be your one-and-only pet so she can keep all the love (and squeaky toys) to herself
-Rarely barks—unless startled—and rubs her face on things to “see” them in the sweetest way imaginable

Batty doesn’t need pity—she needs presence. Someone to sit beside her while she rolls in the grass. Someone who understands that being still together can be the deepest kind of connection.

After everything she’s endured, she’s still gentle. Still playful. Still hopeful.

Are you the person she’s been waiting for?
Let’s show Batty that her forever isn’t behind her—it’s just ahead, waiting with open arms.

More about this rescue

We started out fighting for our baby boy, Lucci, who was killed due to Airport Animal Emergi-Center Clinic's breed prejudice. When he was killed, we make a promise that no bully would be left behind. Now we try to save as many bullies as we can!
