My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luka is a 6-year-old-male Pit Bull Terrier who has already been neutered.  He is an owner turn in because there was a new baby in the home; and Luka was nervous with the family's new addition.  He is a very handsome dog who has a tan coat with white markings; and he weighs 87 pounds which makes him an extra large dog.  Luka is well behaved; and he is both leash trained and house trained. His previous owner has shared he is a big baby who is low maintenance and loves care rides.  Luka would be fine with older children but due to his size we would not recommend he be in a home with younger, smaller children.  If you have another dog, we would require you to bring your dog for a meet and greet with Luka.  This big guy is ready for a new family to love him.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
