Hi, I’m Opal Fettucine! I’m a sweet, gentle girl who is still learning that people can be trusted, but I’m curious and starting to show more of my playful side every day. I love being near my brother, Lapis Linguine, who helps me feel brave, and I often come out for treats or play when I see him enjoying the same things. I’m especially active at night, when I zoom around, chase my favorite toys, and snuggle into boxes whenever I can. I like to do things my own way—I’m perfectly happy rejecting my brother’s wrestling attempts—but I also enjoy gentle interaction with food or play as encouragement. I’m very motivated by treats, especially Churu, which help me feel safe while I warm up to pets and attention. I’m slowly discovering that the world can be full of cozy spots and little adventures—let’s explore together!

Requirements for Adoption
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In possession of a valid photo ID
• Allowed to have a pet where you live
• Must accurately complete our Adoption Questionnaire
• All dogs, cats and rabbits adopted from Maui Humane Society are spayed or neutered.
• Able to follow all county laws related to the animal.
• Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal
