Hi, I’m Salmon born 9/22/2025 (best estimate). I had a rough start in my short little life. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was very scared and would run and hide whenever humans came around. Even now, I’m cautious with people I don’t know yet. I prefer to keep my distance at first, quietly watching from afar until I feel safe enough to come closer. My foster mom sometimes calls me squirmy because I don’t really enjoy being picked up — at least not yet. But I’m making great progress. I no longer run from people I know, and when my favorite human comes to visit, I’m often right there to greet them. Lately, I’ve been feeling brave enough to explore different areas of the house. I love to run and play with my littermates, and the wand toy is my absolute favorite. Toys and balls that rattle are a close second, and you’ll often find me batting them around between naps. I have a healthy appetite and I’m not picky at all. I snack on kibble during the day, and I never let my morning and/or evening wet food go to waste. I’m looking for a calm, patient home where I can adjust at my own pace and feel safe while I build trust. Once I’m comfortable, I’ll happily crawl onto your back or into your lap — and I won’t even squirm that much when you pick me up. I am good with other cats, but I have not been around dogs. I have a lot of love to give and some wonderfully loud purrs just waiting to be heard. Will you be my purr-fect forever home? I am up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and negative for FeLV and FIV. My adoption fee is $220. No online applications are being accepted for this kitty. They are located at our PetSmart Adoption Center at 16257 N. Scottsdale Rd.
