Mayflower entered the San Diego Humane Society as a stray, and sadly, no one claimed her. Estimated to be 15 years, she weighs 7 lbs. and is very friendly.
After becoming a Frosted Face, Mayflower spent time in a Foster home, and we learned that she adapts quickly and is very loving.
Her Foster mom reports:
"Mayflower is such a cuddle bug! She seemed pretty comfortable with me on day one, but as she decompresses and adjusts to her new environment everyday, she seems more confident and finds new spots to stay warm and get comfy, such as sleeping on the living room sofa, or close to her person. I’m happy she feels comfortable and safe enough to lay on top of me!
Mayflower especially enjoys playing with my kitten’s electronic toy (see video.) She uses the litter box and eats a combo of wet and dry food.
Mayflower prefers to cuddle with me over my 7- month-old kitten. She can certainly coexist with him and mostly acts like he doesn’t exist unless he’s too close to her. Mayflower would do well with calm pets who can respect her boundaries, or as a solo senior, since she tends to bond really well with her person!"
