Blaze is a 7 lb rat terrier...he will be small. roughly 8 months old, he is very smart and loves to learn. He's a bit shy so a home without small children is desirable. While he is dog friendly, he needs to learn to trust people.
Blaze is from a hoarding case and had a rough start. He has come a long way in adjusting and looks forward to a home of his own. He is very small and has a very soft coat. His female siblings just bowl him over so he really needs someone of his own to dote on him!

References required. Volunteer run rescue that is the only rescue in 3 counties that do not have animal control of any kind...your calls will be answered but due to rural area may not always receive signal. BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.
100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.
