Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wendy is an extremely affectionate, 8-pound Chihuahua/Terrier puppy about 3 months old. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is attention from her person/people. While other dogs wake up in the morning thinking about a nice outdoor tinkle, or BREAKFAST, Wendy wakes up thinking, “Mom, mom, mom, mom!! Look at me! Play with me! Mom, Mom, Mom!!!” You will get the same treatment when you come home from work, when she will do the Doggie Dance of Welcome for you.
Whither you go, Wendy follows. You’re in the kitchen cooking—she’s there. You’re taking a shower—she’s there. You sit down on the couch and FOOM! There’s a dog in your lap! (Hint: It’s Wendy.)
Wendy doesn’t just love people—she loves other dogs as well. She lives in a foster home with 7 dogs and 5 cats, and she gets along with all of them. She loves zoom, zoom, zooming around the back yard with her doggie friends. She likes squeaky toys, but her very favorites are crinkly toys.
Her house training is underway, although expect to have to work on this as she is so young. She rides well in a car.
More than anything, Wendy just wants to be loved and held.
Wendy’s adoption fee is $275 and includes spay, all shots & microchip.
Note:
We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.

During Covid, we got used to doing our adoptions online, and that's how we still operate. However, we occasionally do adoption events at Hollywood Feed in Flower Mound and at PetSmart in Roanoke.

More about this rescue
We’re a new group (as of January 2019) composed of experienced dog rescuers. We are all-volunteer and 100% foster-based—no shelters or facilities to crush the spirits of our dogs. We have applied for 501c3 status as a non-profit corporation.
We are an oddball assortment of misfits who all happen to love dogs. We pull our dogs from shelters, we find them on the streets, we take them from homes that can no longer care for them, and we find them permanent, loving homes. We are not breed specific--we love them all!
We're headquartered in Lewisville/Flower Mound, but our members are far-flung through North Dallas and into Fort Worth.
