He’s potty trained, although in new environments he may occasionally try to mark furniture and will benefit from continued consistency and positive reinforcement. Charlie can be a little nervous when meeting new people or encountering unfamiliar situations, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and loyal personality shines through. He enjoys being close to his people and does best with patience and reassurance as he builds confidence. He has a healthy appetite and loves chewing on dog toys — and he reliably leaves furniture alone. Charlie enjoys going for walks and getting his exercise, but he also knows how to settle down and relax for a quiet, cozy evening. Because Charlie has a strong instinct to chase cats, he would do best in a cat-free home. WAAL is an action oriented group dedicated to rescuing animals in crisis.
