I’m BONSAI, a gorgeous buff boy rescued from the street at just three days old! I was raised in an incubator for a couple of weeks – bottle fed for a month – and then placed in a room with my foster mama’s other foster kittens! They were older & bigger and loved to wrestle, which wasn’t a great fit because I’m a lover, not a fighter! I was much happier when a new baby kitten arrived, and after a couple of weeks, I got to spend all my time with her instead. We’re very gentle with each other, and I taught her how to eat from a plate, play with toys, run through tunnels & race up & down the stairs! I’m an excellent teacher, and my foster mama tells me that I’m a dream baby, one of the sweetest, most gentle kittens she’s had the privilege of raising!
My name, BONSAI, symbolises harmony, peace, balance & strength… and on a personal note, I am a snuggle bunny, who LOVES to cuddle on laps and in bed and will make whoever adopts me feel like the most important person in the universe.
I must go to a home that already has a cat or a cat-friendly dog or be adopted with another calm kitten. Please keep in mind that I am gentle & won’t do well with aggressive wrestlers. Also, I got along great with the senior cats in my foster home – it would be nice living with a senior cat who’s just lost their feline bestie! In one of my pics, you can see what I looked like when I first arrived at SBACC. In another, you can see me with my foster sister. She’s not ready for her forever home yet.
