My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

# A5741162 Angie  is a 3-year-old spayed female domestic shorthaired orange Tabby with a soft, beautiful coat and a heart full of love. Weighing 14.9 lbs as of December 9, Angie is microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to head home. Though she may be dealing with a mild kitty cold and could need a health waiver, her sweet, affectionate personality shines through.

Angie loves attention and eagerly rubs against the cage bars, clearly craving human connection. She enjoys being petted but wasn’t quite ready to leave the comfort of her cage yet — a sign she just wants to feel safe. With a calm home and gentle reassurance, Angie will quickly blossom into a loving, devoted companion. She’s more than ready for her forever home and a family who will give her the security and affection she deserves.

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
