HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org
- Absolutely gorgeous cat with beautiful long fur
- One of the sweetest, most loving cats ever - she enjoys being with her family and cuddling up for lots of pets and love
- Has lived with other cats and has done well with them!
- This cat is on a prescription diet and is only eating Hills GI Biome dry food. Due to her sensitive tummy, she cannot tolerate or eat canned/wet food
- This precious cat is looking for a committed adopter who is willing to keep her on her special diet, and work with their own veterinarian to keep her healthy and happy
This cat has showed signs consistent with inflammatory bowel disease with loose stools being the prevalent clinical sign. This cat underwent multiple therapies, and we did see improvement with stool consistency, especially when on a prescription diet. This cat otherwise has a good quality of life and body condition. This cat may require further medication or veterinary care if she experiences a flare-up. Please discuss this medical history with your veterinarian. Future veterinary care will be at your vet's discretion and at your expense.
