Freya looks like a beautiful fox! She can be scared and shy with new people and is looking for a calm, gentle, quiet, patient home. Freya was most likely not treated well by her original owner. She is slow to warm up, then once she gets to know you, she is a wonderful and sweet companion who likes to approach people when she's ready. She loves other playful dogs, is loving, charismatic and the sweetest dog ever, when she feels safe. Freya is housebroken, great on leash, great snuggler, responds well to positive reinforcement training. Frey will not be a dog you can take downtown, or have her join you for drinks on a patio. She would make a great adventure buddy for someone who likes to get away from the crowds. We think Freya would thrive with another friendly and confident dog who can show her that her new life isn't that scary! This little lady does not want to be in a home with children, but we may consider teenagers for the right applicant. We really want to find her a calm and consistent home environment with her future furever family! We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Please visit our website www.grandrivershumane.org to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our upcoming adoption event locations.
