Where did you acquire your pet?
We adopted Emma from a breeder called Valentina Puppies. She has been with us since she was a young puppy and has been raised in a home environment.
How old is your pet?
Emma is 8 months old.
What are you looking for in a new home?
We are looking for a home that truly understands and enjoys high-energy, intelligent working breeds. Emma would thrive with:
• An active individual or family
• Someone experienced with Australian Shepherds or similar breeds
• A home with older children (she struggles to play gently with our 5-year-old)
• Time for daily exercise, training, and mental stimulation
She currently chases our cats. We believe she could learn to coexist with cats with consistent training and boundaries, but a cat-free home or a confident, dog-savvy cat household would be ideal.
This decision was not made lightly. Emma is a wonderful dog, but we’ve realized we cannot provide the level of physical and mental engagement she needs to truly thrive.
