Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poker Face must be adopted into a home with another playful cat.
Hi, I’m Poker Face ♠️🐱
Don’t let my name fool you. I may look cool and composed, but inside I am a tiny whirlwind of confidence, curiosity, and cuddles.
I’m the runt of the litter, which just means I’m pocket-sized and extra determined. I love to explore and I am completely fearless, even when it comes to big cats. Their toys? Mine now. Their food? Also mine, if I can manage it. When wet food is on the way, I sing the song of my people, cry dramatically, jump hopefully, and usually end up wearing some of it on my face. A quick wipe is part of the routine.
I adore people. I’m used to being picked up, carried around, kissed all over, and snuggled close. I cry when I’m hungry or when I want attention, which is often. I’m a true lap cat and will happily curl up for petting or brushing while my purr motor runs nonstop.
Playtime is serious business. I love wand toys, laser toys, mice, balls, and anything that moves. Toss a toy in the air or bounce it off a wall and I will leap, twist, and catch it like a tiny acrobat. When I’m tired, you’ll find me melting into a lap, very pleased with myself.
Ready to play? Poker’s the name and stealing hearts is my game. Come meet me. The stakes are high, the odds are excellent, and I’m all in for my forever home.

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
