Smokey is the sweetest boy!! He loves to snuggle and is very submissive. He LOVES to play with other dogs so definitely needs a housemate. Being a Beagle or Basset mix, he loves to follow his nose so a secure fence is necessary. He is a total goofball. I rarely hear him bark. He is good with cats. Mostly wants to play with them but is also scared of them. He nervous pees when he gets scared. Loves to play with toys and chew on cow hooves. Likes to carry the basket of hooves around in his mouth. He is silly and super fun!! Resource guards a tiny bit but corrects easily. A perfect boy!!

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
