We have fostered Billy from an 8 week puppy. He was raised with a family and several siblings but was primarily outside most of the time. He misses his family of children and his siblings. He loves being inside but needs room to play outside as he likes to run, play tag, ball and tug-a-war. He perks up whenever he hears kids playing and looks and looks for them.
Billy is about 15-16 weeks now. He is amazingly smart. Learns extremely fast. He is totally crate-trained. Sleeps all night from about 9:30 to 6:00 without incident. Waits to go out in the morning to take care of business.
He love toys and attention and hugs and chew sticks. Billy is learning basic commands and can sit, and wait and stay (for a bit :). Some leash training. He is very affectionate but definitely needs more exercise than we can give him. We are seniors and have some health problems we did not expect to have - not fair to him.
He is going to make someone a wonderful dog.
