Kensington — “Mama Kensi” — is a 2.5-year-old Shih-Tzu/Schnauzer sweetheart who survived the odds after being found stray and pregnant in Texas. She safely raised her six babies in our care, and now it’s finally her turn to be cherished. Kensi is fully potty trained, gentle, affectionate, great with other dogs, and the perfect blend of playful and calm. Her deep, expressive eyes tell a story of hope and resilience, and she’s ready to share her heart with a loving family who will adore her for the rest of her life. She would love a home with a yard, a warm lap nearby, and a family who believes in forever just as much as she does.

Browse available pets on our website, (adoption fees listed) and fill out an adoption application. A team member will call you to discuss your needs, and any specific pets you might be interested in. We will have you do a meet and greet with the animal(s), and arrange for a P.R.A.R. representative to complete a home check. Once the home check is complete and passed the adoption contract will be completed and arrangements will be made to transfer your new baby into their new home!
