All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea.
Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures.
Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process.
🩷 Rescue Story
Coby was found in Gajwa-dong, Incheon. At the time of rescue, he was wearing a collar, suggesting he may have once belonged to someone. However, despite waiting for over two months, no one came forward to claim him. He has since been living in foster care, where he has shown himself to be an exceptionally gentle and well-adjusted companion.
🌿 Temperament & Behavior
Coby likes other dogs and greets them politely without barking. He shows friendly interest and interacts calmly.
When he sees cats, he shows curiosity and wants to follow them. He does not bark or show aggressive behavior, but he has not been tested off-leash with cats.
He shows little interest in passing children. He has not had experience with very young children who are not yet walking.
🚶 Walking & Daily Life
Coby enjoys short daily walks, about 15–20 minutes in the morning and evening. After walks, he spends most of his time resting calmly at home.
He walks nicely on leash and settles easily into a relaxed indoor routine.
🏡 Habits & Training
Coby is fully pad-trained indoors. Because he lifts his leg when urinating, his pee pads are set up in an L-shape. Since starting twice-daily walks, he now prefers to poop outdoors, though he previously used indoor pads reliably as well.
Early in foster care, he marked indoors 3–4 times. Occasionally, when left alone, he urinated on the sofa. After limiting sofa access during absences, this behavior stopped completely. He now consistently uses a single designated pad area and is very easy to manage indoors.
He has no howling and no destructive behavior. He may bark briefly (about twice) at the doorbell, but otherwise he is a very quiet dog.
Coby tolerates bathing, brushing, paw cleaning, and general handling extremely well. He enjoys staying close to people but is also comfortable sleeping separately at night.
💛 Likes & Personality
Coby is affectionate and loving with people. When passersby show interest, he calmly makes eye contact and approaches when called to receive pets. His foster family describes him as an exceptionally easy dog to live with—so much so that they feel it would be hard to meet another dog as well-mannered as Coby.
He is currently living in a foster home.
