My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basil is such a handsome boy! Perfect in every way, he is ready to give you the snugs and love both of you deserve!!

Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/cat

Little Basil is the man of the hour. He loves his treats, his toys, and his snugs. He takes a little time to warm up, but that is because he spent the beginning of his life on the streets. When his rescuer caught him, she knew he was not meant for the outdoor life. He loves his people friends and is ready to join his forever family!!!

This handsome little boy was found out on the street, waiting to be rescued. Thankfully, now this sweet little guy is safe, thriving, and looking for his forever home. It could be you!!

Basil is ~8 months old, neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litter box tidy. All he needs now is a forever home! He has never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think he could learn to love a new dog friend. He was rescued by a good Samaritan and they are so happy he gets to live the inside cat life!!

Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens is better for their short- and long-term health can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens

Basil is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. He is litter box trained and in excellent health!

The adoption application can be found here:

Basil is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

Adoption Fee: $350

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
