My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dill!

Introducing Dill, a sweet 2-year-old gray Domestic Shorthair who is learning what it means to feel safe. Pulled from a shelter alongside his brother Tommy, Dill is now on his journey toward confidence and comfort in a loving home.

Shy but Gentle

Dill is a very shy boy who will need some patience and understanding as he warms up. Once he feels secure, his gentle personality begins to shine. A calm home where he can move at his own pace would be ideal for him.

Bonded Background

Coming in with his brother Tommy, Dill has always known the comfort of a feline companion. While he may take time to adjust, having a safe and predictable environment will help him thrive.

Healthy and Ready

Dill is vaccinated, neutered, and combo test negative. He’s healthy and ready to start the next chapter of his life with someone willing to give him the time he needs.

Ready for a Patient, Loving Home

Dill is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can slowly build trust and confidence. With patience and kindness, he has the potential to become a wonderful companion.

If you have a soft spot for shy kitties and a heart full of patience, come meet Dill! He may be quiet now, but his love will be worth the wait

More about this rescue

The Homeless Pets Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1998 by Dr. Michael Good, an Atlanta veterinarian who saw a need to create an organization that could assist animal shelters and pet owners in need. In the Atlanta area alone, there are more than 100,000 animals destroyed each year for lack of a home. The Foundation provides critical medical care, food, foster care and comfort to these homeless animals.
