Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shadow is a 7 year old neutered male terrier mix.
He is the perfect little companion: people, dog, and cat friendly. He has not been observed around young children yet.
Like many small dogs, he is hesitant with new animals and new people at first, but he warms up very quickly. He is generally low energy with occasional zoomies. He loves attention and cuddles. Once he is comfortable with you, he is okay with being picked up. He rarely barks unless someone new comes to the house. His only issue is that he is currently marking in his foster's home, this may be improved by being in a home with only female dogs or without other dogs.
Poor Shadow did not have an easy life before coming to the rescue. We believe his first owner loved him very much, but they sadly passed away. We are not sure what happened, but Shadow ended up with an unhoused woman who could not and did not want to care for him. We took him in and are in awe of his sweetness despite his past.
