Hi there! My name is Galaxy, and I’m currently staying at the Roswell Center while I wait for my forever home. I came to Atlanta Humane from another shelter, so my friends here don’t have any previous owner history for me, but they’re learning more about me every day.
I did go on a short trial adoption, and my adopter shared some helpful insights about me. They said I’m very playful and sweet, and while I enjoy being around people, I’m not much of a cuddler. I also do a great job settling in at night and am nice and quiet while you sleep.
I’m still adjusting after a lot of change, so I’m taking things at my own pace. With a patient adopter who appreciates a playful, independent cat and understands that affection can look different for everyone, I’m sure I’ll continue to shine. If you’re looking for a fun, sweet companion who doesn’t need to be in your lap to be happy, I might be your girl.

They’ve been seen by a vet and a behavior team, are up-to-date on vaccines, and go home with starter kit to help you get started off on the right paw. Even if they can’t say it out loud, when you find the right animal, you’ll feel the gratitude and affection. Your new best friend is waiting for you!
