Meet Tico🩷
💙 Adogs Center Updates: @_adogs_
1⃣ Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, undergoing treatment for heartworm and giardiasis.
* Her left hind leg is broken. It doesn’t cause issues in her daily life but caution must be taken so it doesn’t drag on the ground.
2⃣ Rescue Story
* Tico was rescued when Adogs visited the Gimje City Shelter to prepare the building for the cold winter. There was concern over contagious diseases for Tico, who was shivering because of the harsh winds, so she was rescued.
3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Is a little shy but opens up quickly. Is an affectionate cutie that follows you around once you’ve become familiar.
* With Dogs: Prefers to be alone rather than play with friends. Is aloof but gets along with the other dogs at the Center.
* With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Unknown, since she’s living in a communal environment at the Center. Will need basic training in a home environment.
* Potty Training: Unknown, since she’s living in a communal environment at the Center. Will need basic training in a home environment.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
