My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Red is an amazing dog with a gentle, happy soul. He’s sweet, patient, and smart, and he truly enjoys the company of other dogs. He loves to play, even if the other dogs decide they’re not in the mood, and takes it all in stride with his easygoing personality.

One of Red’s favorite pastimes is spending time outside on the patio, watching squirrels go about their business and soaking in all the interesting smells, especially when the wind blows. He’s curious and observant without being high-strung.

Red enjoys toys and especially loves playing tug. He walks well on a leash and enjoys his walks. Mealtime is a breeze, he eats like a champ, but he is a little picky about his treats and prefers the good stuff.

He’s calm in the home and loves being around his people. Red is okay in a crate, though he doesn’t go in willingly, and once settled he is quiet and sleeps through the night. Best of all, he is fully potty trained.

Red would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, well-mannered dog who enjoys both playtime and relaxing nearby.

Every pet adopted through our careful matching service benefits from preliminary vaccinations and health care,
the relocation security of microchip identification. The adoption fee is $225-$600 for puppies and adult dog.

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)
