My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Leonardo - the speedy little silver streak who just dashed through your heart and kept running. This handsome grey tabby may be tiny, but he comes with a big personality and even bigger zoomies. If life feels too quiet, Leonardo is here to fix that with nonstop playtime, spontaneous acrobatics, and a firm belief that every human he meets is his new best friend.

Friendly, sweet, endlessly lovable, and allergic to sitting still, Leonardo is always on the move. He chases toys, he chases shadows, he chases imaginary things only he can see - and somehow still finds time to come back for attention, cuddles, and praise for being the cutest whirlwind alive.

If you want a kitten who will fill your home with laughter, motion, affection, and pure joyful chaos, Leonardo is ready to lead the way. Adopt him today - he comes preloaded with energy, personality, and constant entertainment.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
