Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Yoshi, a former street-savvy tomcat who has officially retired from the stray life to become the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. If there were an award for "Most Friendly Neighbor," Yoshi would win it paws-down; he absolutely loves cats, dogs, and any other furry friends he encounters. Socializing former stray cats often takes a village, but Yoshi is already an expert at making animal pals. While he is a little shy with humans at first, he has a secret weakness: head scratches. The moment you find that perfect spot, his "stranger danger" melts away, and he transforms into a dedicated, biscuit-making purr ball. Yoshi takes relaxation to a whole new level—he’s a professional lounger who believes every nap is an art form. He is looking for a "forever kingdom" where he can be spoiled like the king he is. If you have a home filled with love (and maybe a few other pets for him to befriend), Yoshi is ready to move in and take over your heart. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
