I am looking to responsibly rehome my two-year-old AKC-registered German Shepherd due to an upcoming military move that unfortunately will not allow me to bring her along. She is fully up to date on all vaccinations, potty-trained, and has been raised in a home environment.
She has lived with two male dogs and does well with them. She has never been around cats, so a slow and supervised introduction would be recommended if there are cats in the home. While she may be a little shy or nervous at first, she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. She is incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate.
She knows basic commands and is one of my most obedient dogs. As with all working breeds, she will thrive with continued training, structure, and regular activity. She would do best in a home that understands the German Shepherd breed and can provide consistency, patience, and engagement.
