Meet Woofie: Woofie is a 5-year-old Husky with a gentle spirit and a resilient heart. He was rescued after being found chained to a tree, and thanks to the compassion of a Big Dog Ranch team member, he was given the chance to leave that life behind and begin a safer, more hopeful chapter. Woofie would do best with an adopter who has experience with Huskies and understands their needs, including exercise, enrichment, and grooming. He is deeply bonded to his companion, Zara, and they will need to be adopted together, as they provide comfort and confidence to one another. At this time, we are unsure how Woofie does with other dogs, as he has not yet been formally tested. He would benefit from a calm, patient home that allows him time to settle and adjust at his own pace. Woofie is looking for a loving, knowledgeable home where he and Zara can stay together and finally enjoy the safety, care, and companionship they deserve.
