"Honey is a sweet as honey! She is a 1-year-old cattle dog mix at a nice, 40 pounds, medium-size. Honey is extremely loving, smart, very attentive and eager to learn from people. She likes kids and other dogs, too. Honey is on the timid/submissive side and still learning about living in a home and the world around her. She is still very puppy-like, but her intellect and enthusiasm are helping her learn quickly in her foster home.
Honey was saved from a Houston, high intake shelter when her time was up. She had been picked up as a stray. She had a nice behavior report at the shelter and was known for charming shelter volunteers with her army crawls, kisses, and for rolling over for belly rubs❤️. We have no idea who missed out on this beautiful, blue-eyed gem of a girl before, but she’s ready to put it all behind her and find her true forever people. We think she would do well in a home with a more mature canine to learn from and/or humans that have time to work on training and taking her on adventures. Her forever family will be lucky to have her!"
Honey is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado.
*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*
