Hi, I'm Tony! -- -- Here is some information about me: -- -- I like to take treats from your hand. -- I prefer to free roam. -- I'm a great bunny for calm households. -- I'm a great bunny for experienced bunny owners. -- -- I don't like: -- loud noises, to be picked up, -- -- I am: -- a cuddle-bun, active, curious, energetic, litter box trained, silly, smart, sweet, tidy, -- -- I like: -- dogs, napping, to be pet, to binky, to dig, to explore, to play, to run, -- Tony is a curious, active bunny who was returned to the rescue after being previously adopted. He initially needed some help learning to trust people again, but he's doing great in his foster family. He does not like being picked up, but he loves pets and snuggles on the floor with people he knows and trusts. -- -- -- Tony starts tooth purring almost immediately when being pet, and doesn't want it to stop! He is still learning how to manage excitement around affection and does best with calm, predictable interactions. Initially he would nip his foster mom when she stopped petting him because he wanted more. He is learning different ways to communicate that he wants the affection to continue, and he's nipping less now that he's getting daily affection and interaction with his foster family. Recently Tony has enjoyed sitting in his foster mom's lap for lots of pets and snuggles. Tony is a very affectionate rabbit, but he will need some time to settle into his new home and feel safe enough to let his sweet nature emerge. -- -- -- -- -- Tony is very well litter trained and has had no accidents outside of his litter box. He's also a tidy boy and keeps his hay in his box. He absolutely adores his stacking cups and can't wait to knock them over and play with them every time his foster mom stacks them up for him. He also loves to dig at his blankets and will likely enjoy a dig box or supervised outdoor time. After just a few weeks, he became quite comfortable with his foster family's dog and could be a good fit for an adopter that has a calm, predictable dog if they are able to take their time introducing the dog to Tony. -- -- -- He loves to free roam and has zoomies and binkies every day, sometimes twice a day, usually accompanied by quiet little honks. When he's tired, Tony will lie down with his legs stretched out, find a quiet spot under the couch or bed to sleep, or sit by a sliding glass door so he can see outside. Tony does like to chew shoes, so keep your shoes in the closet, but other than that he hasn't been destructive. Tony would be best suited for someone who has experience with rabbits and will let Tony take his time to get comfortable, but once that trust is there, he will be a great companion. He's growing sweeter by the day with his foster family and frequently seeks them out for affection in the evenings. -- -- Apply for Tony at https://rabbitangelsrabbitrescue.com/forms/adoption_app.php?bunname=Tony Our adoption fee is $120 for a single and $180 for a bonded pair.
