Meet Jolly — a 1-2 year old male Cattle Dog mix with a heart as warm as a cozy Christmas fire. Jolly may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet and loving personality truly shines. This gentle pup adores affection and forms deep bonds, making him the kind of companion who will stay close by your side through every season. With his cattle dog smarts and youthful curiosity, Jolly is eager to learn and blossom with patient guidance and plenty of encouragement.

He’s the perfect mix of soft-hearted and playful, weighing right around 30 pounds this sweet boy is sure to bring calm joy and holiday cheer into the home. If you’re dreaming of a loyal best friend to share peaceful winter nights, festive walks, and lots of love, Jolly could be the Christmas miracle you’ve been waiting for.

Jolly is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines so all he needs now is a forever family to help him feel merry and bright.

Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 919-266-8177 or email pets4adoption@bellsouth.net. All adoption fees are cash or check only, we do not accept credit cards for adoption fees.

To speed up the adoption process please visit our webiste, www.mmahrescue.org, to fill out an application and get pre-approved when you arrive to meet your new best friend! Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience.

Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The dog adoption fee of $200 includes; spay/neuter, bordetella, dewormed, any age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test(if old enough), and is current on heartworm prevention. The cat adoption fee of $100 includes; FELV/FIV testing, spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, & dewormed.
An adoption contract is required, references are checked, and an interview is required before adoption.

We are an animal hospital dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray and abandoned animals. Dr. Covington is the owner of the clinic and has spearheaded an enormous effort to rescue as many animals as possible.
