If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Gremmy is currently 9 months old and was born outside with his sister, Sweet P (who is also available for adoption). He earned his full name - Gremlin - because while outside, he was always trying to eat his sisters food. One of his favorite ways to relax outside was to sit in the flower basket on the deck and chase fireflies at night. When we brought both siblings inside to begin fostering, Gremmy went from 0 to 100 in terms of domestication. He starts out shy but quickly becomes a huge cuddle bug, chirps when he’s missing you or chasing a toy, and purrs almost constantly when being given back scritches. The perfect family for him would be one that has (or is willing to provide) devoted cat-friendly spaces to climb and burrow, has another cat or is adopted with his sister, and gives out lots of affection. He’s fine with other cats - he’s on the timid side but warms up quickly - and based on his nature, we think he’d be okay with dogs if introductions are done over a period of time.
