My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilma is a gorgeous kitty with strikingly bright eyes that almost seem to glow. She is currently seeking her forever home, where she can share her gentle spirit and affectionate nature.

This lovely cat especially enjoys relaxing in spots where she can observe everything happening around her. Wilma loves to watch the daily activities, participate in playful moments with other kitties, and greet staff and volunteers as they enter her house.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet Wilma? If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, then Wilma is the one for you!

Her adaptable nature and friendly disposition make her a perfect fit for almost any loving home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
