My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Northeastern people! My name is Ella, and I am a very pretty female Aussiedoodle born on May 17, 2024, and I currently weigh 44 lbs. I was living with my owner in Uvalde, Texas, when she was no longer able to care for me and surrendered me to 4 Little Paws Rescue. These days, I am staying in a foster home in San Antonio, recently spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. I am now ready to find the future I deserve with a wonderful forever family!

I am a very sweet girl with a medium energy level and a gentle demeanor. I make friends easily with everyone, strangers included, and I am great with other dogs. I love dog toys and chews, dehydrated bones, oven-baked treats, rice balls, and I’m still deciding if I like carrots. I enjoy toys with a squeaker and will sometimes find a quiet place to relax and play with a favorite toy. My foster parents report that I am genuinely the sweetest dog, and I tend to be a daddy’s girl. I love kisses and snuggles, belly rubs, little kisses on my forehead, and if you don't mind 44 lbs in your lap, then I’m a lapdog! I also love walks and car rides, especially adventures with my foster dad in his Jeep, driving around town. I am housebroken and rarely bark. I do cry and whimper when left home alone, but I’m working on it and getting better about it as I feel more secure. I don't chew on your things, or dig in the yard, or guard my food or toys. I am crate-trained and do well when in my crate, but when bored, I may try to open it up by myself. I’m a very smart girl! At night, I either sleep in my bed in my crate or sleep in bed with my foster parents, so whatever works for you is fine. I am the type of girl who is eager to please and will gaze at you with loving eyes, making me an incredibly sweet and devoted companion. Inquire about me today!

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
