My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fitzgerald (Edmund Fitzgerald for long, Fitz for short) was brought to the shelter as a stray in November, so much isn`t known about his past. What we`ve learned since taking this sweet boy in is that Fitz is ENERGY embodied... Fitz loves to run! and jump! and chase! He`s a puppy in a big dog body.
Fitz does well keeping his kennel clean, greets most people with full body hugs, and never turns down an opportunity to destroy a stuffie.
His energy may be a bit much for a home with small children, as he isn`t very courteous.. yet.. and would likely knock a little one on their butt. He also would do best in a home with a lot of activities and room to move.. wide open spaces to run out some of that energy!
Fitz has seem curious about the other animals here at the shelter (some he likes, some he doesn`t), so a meet and greet with any dog sibling would be necessary and we can make no guarantees that he wouldn`t chase a cat if given the chance.

Is this goofy, squirrely boy the missing piece of your family? Stop in to meet him, he LOVES to meet new people.. it`s one of his favorite things.
