My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Honeynut Squash
(Yes, like the vegetable. No, I am not edible.)

I’m a young boy who came to the shelter with my siblings, and I’m just as sweet as my name suggests. I’m soft, gentle, and curious about the world, though I can be a little shy when we first meet. Give me a moment—and a few pets—and I warm right up.

I really enjoy being pet, and I’m okay with being held too! Just a heads up: I might try to grab on with my tiny claws, so please scoop me up carefully. I promise it’s not mischief—I just like to feel secure.

I do have a 3/6 grade heart murmur, but my foster says it doesn’t slow me down—I still love to play and explore just like any other kitten.

I’m looking for a forever home where I can be a kitten: play, explore, nap in cozy spots, and grow up knowing I’m safe and loved. If you’re searching for a sweet, slightly bashful boy with a silly name and a big heart, I might be your perfect match.

Love,
Honeynut Squash
