My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi… I’m Caspian

I’m an all-black kitten who’s still learning about the big world—and especially about big humans. I came to the shelter as a stray, so people are a little new and sometimes a little scary for me. I might hiss at first, not because I’m mean, but because I’m unsure and trying to be brave.

Even so, I’m actually the most confident one in my litter. I may hide when things feel overwhelming, but if you’re patient and gentle and give me a few pets, I start to relax and open up. Once I realize you’re kind, I can tell I’m going to like you.

I’m curious, learning every day, and slowly discovering that humans can be a really good thing. With a calm home, time, and love, I know I’ll grow into a wonderful companion.

If you’re someone with patience and a big heart, I think we could be a great match.
